3. Receive your visa grant in PDF format.

5. Remember that you will be charged by the embassy, consulate, or airport for a VISA Stamp, this payment varies based on your passport nationality and where you select to pick up your VISA Stamp.

• You can get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Iranian airports, with Tehran’s IKA Airport being the main entry point. Other airports offering VOA include Tehran (IKA Airport), Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Kish Island, Qeshm Island, Tabriz, Urmia, Ahvaz, Kerman, Lar, and Bandar Abbas.
• For land border crossings, you’ll need an Iran visa authorization code. Additionally, you can obtain a visa sticker at Iranian embassies and consulates, including those in Ankara, Istanbul, Yerevan, Tbilisi, Baghdad, Erbil, Islamabad, and Lahore.

Visa Information for Designated Nationalities (American, Canadian & British)

• Only tourist and pilgrimage visas are provided.
• Tourist visas allow for a single entry.
• The maximum visa duration is 30 days.
• The review process takes 30-45 working days from the receipt of documents by the Inspection and Cooperation Office within Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicraft and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).
• Incomplete or defective documents will result in visa rejection. Visit Our Iran is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to incomplete documentation or delays by travel service providers.
• Please note that travelers from the above-mentioned nationalities are not allowed to bring vehicles into Iran.
• Any travel plan changes must be reported to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the visa application process is finalized, no modifications to the plan are permitted.
• Once approved, the traveler must visit the Iranian consulate abroad with their passport, visa file, itinerary, and the applicable government fee to collect the visa.

• File size: 10 KB to 500 KB.
• Orientation: Portrait (height > width).
• Dimensions: Minimum 400 x 600 pixels.
• Recent: Taken within the last six months.
• Background: Clear and light.
• Expression: Neutral, eyes open, looking at the camera.
• Clothing: Everyday attire (no uniforms, head coverings, or shadows).
• Accessories: No headphones, glasses (unless medically necessary and clear per guidelines).

Changes in Appearance:

• If your appearance has changed (e.g., facial surgery, weight changes, or added features), a new photo matching your current look is required.
• Minor changes like growing a beard do not require a new photo. Photo acceptance is at the discretion of the consulate.

Infant Photo Guidelines:

• No other person in the photo.
• Child should be facing the camera with eyes open.
• Use a light-colored background or cover for better lighting.

First Page of Passport Scan Requirements:

• Color scan: No black-and-white or single-color images.
• File format: JPG or JPEG.
• Size: Between 10 KB and 500 KB.
• Resolution: Minimum 800 x 600 pixels.

Can I Enter Iran Without a Visa?

• Visas are available only for regular passports; we do not issue visas for political, official, or special passports.
• The visa pick-up location (airport or consulate) must be chosen carefully, as it cannot be changed later.
• If your visa application is rejected, the application fee will be refunded.
• The information needed for the visa process varies by nationality.
• Your Iranian tourist visa is issued on a separate paper and not stamped in your passport.
• The visa approval is valid for two months. After receiving the visa stamp, you have three months to enter Iran and stay for the duration specified in your visa.
• Staying in Iran beyond the number of days mentioned in your visa will result in a fine. Repeated overstays may lead to being barred from re-entry to Iran.
• If you book a tour package that includes hotel and transfer services, the visa fee will be waived.
