Right at the heart of Tehran, this historical maze is filled with lots of stores and stretches about 10km, just like a rhizome and divides into many sections, each one specific to a particular type of product. You can find anything you want to buy in these mercantile vaults, from souvenirs and household items to carpets and jewelry. Walking in the lanes of this bazaar is a genuine historical experience, and you can find many traditional tea houses and restaurants among the stores that entice you with their magical scent of Kebab or traditional Iranian foods like Tahchin. Moslem Restaurant and its Tahchin dish are one of the most famous ones since it is capable of serving food to about 5000 people.
