Terms and Conditions for Car Rental in Iran:
- Car rentals have a minimum duration of 3 days, with fees applicable accordingly. If the rental period exceeds 3 days and is subsequently cancelled, a refund will be issued.
- Cancellation of a car rental reservation is free of charge.
- In the event of a car breakdown, the roadside assistance team will arrive within 45 minutes. If the issue cannot be resolved, the lessor will provide a replacement car free of charge within 24 hours.
- If you wish to return the car in a different city, please notify Visit Our Iran at least 24 hours in advance
- The customer is responsible for the cost of the car wash, gasoline, and road tolls; smoking incurs an additional carwash fee of 1.500.000 rials.
- Violation of dress code (hijab) regulations incurs a 5-day rent cost.
- In the event that the customer delivers the car 3 hours late, an additional day's rental fee will be charged. This amount will be deducted from the customer's deposit.
- All responsibilities lie with the customer for the duration of the rental period.
- The customer agrees not to transfer the car to any individual or entity, whether through rental, trust, or any other means. Any legal consequences will be the customer's responsibility, and the lessor reserves the right to enforce the warranty without conditions.
- The customer is liable for any violations, complaints, or allegations of misconduct, including those related to traffic, criminal, or civil matters, arising from the use of the vehicle until the completion of the transaction and settlement of the account.
- In the event of an accident, the customer is liable for any decrease in the value of the car, parking fees, or repair costs resulting from the accident. This amount will be deducted from the customer's deposit.
- If the customer is dissatisfied with the technical quality of the car, a replacement will be provided at no extra cost.
- Failure to return the car on time or renew the contract will result in the customer's deposit being forfeited as collateral. The lessor reserves the right to repossess the car without judicial recourse. Legal and criminal liabilities do not apply to the lessor in this matter, and the customer cannot claim otherwise through legal or administrative channels.
- In the event of an accident causing technical damage to the car, it will be covered by the insurance policy. If insurance doesn't cover all costs, the remainder will be assessed. Additionally, the lessor may waive the customer's deposit for any depreciation-related damages, without legal proceedings.
- If an accident occurs, the customer must submit the accident sketch to the traffic police. Failure to do so will result in the customer being held responsible for all damages.
- The customer cannot transfer the car to anyone else; violations incur legal consequences.
- If any criminal activity, such as drug possession, breach of dress code, fraud, or breach of trust, occurs, the customer must cover daily parking fees at judicial or traffic facilities, in addition to the contract deposit. The contract will be terminated without refund, and the lessor reserves the right to reclaim the car through legal channels.
- The customer is responsible for all fines and violations incurred by the car during the rental period until its return.
- In the event of a total loss where repairing the vehicle is not feasible, the customer agrees to compensate the lessor with 30% of the total insured value of the vehicle.
- The customer is liable for accidents resulting from driving under the influence of alcohol and must provide compensation.
