I enjoyed all the places we visited, especially Naghshe Jahan Square & Persepolis. Special dinners and camel riding were great. The quality of hotels was excellent. One special thing to consider is that you don’t need to exchange so much money in Iran, most things in Iran are really cheap. Siavash our leader was admirable during the tour, I am thankful for his suggestions, we had interesting experiences.

We had a wonderful, magical time on the Ancient Persia UNESCO tour and Ziyarat. We were a group of 6 ladies. We extended it to 15 days to really experience the culture of Iran. Our guides, Ashkan and Tahareh, had a wealth of knowledge regarding the history and culture of Iran. Loved the old mosques, gardens and bazaars. Bought some beautiful hand crafted ornaments in the bazaars. Poyan at VOI was so helpful and always available if we needed anything. Everything is cheap there but best to take extra cash as you may be tempted to buy more than you think. Want to come again and explore the North next time. Thanks so much VOI team

Just want to say a big thank you to Poyan and his team for arranging this trip for us.They went above and beyond any tour operator that i have ever dealt with.Organised my Sim and Debit card(which i would totally recommend as currency denominations can get a bit confusing). We were a group of six women travelling in Iran in November and not once did I feel unsafe or threatened in any way.Don't let the media stop you from travelling to Iran.It has so much history and culture to offer. The historical Persian gardens, the old mosques and the bazaars have loads to offer. Take a little extra money in case you see that rug or chess board that you really want and is screaming "buy me".The people are welcoming and the food is just amazing. Our guides Ashkan and Tahareh were wonderful. We traveled a lot with Ashkan who gave us an insight to Iranian culture and life that you could not have picked up from a rough guide book.If you enjoy being a foodie like me then I would urge you to book your next holiday with these guys..they will take you through the bustling bazaars to restaurants and cafes dating back to Safavid times..must try the Biriyani and Doogh in Isfahan! They even found a vegan restaurant in Tehran for one of our ladies..but i have to say Iran is a meat eaters place!! Hope to visit Iran again in the near future.Once again a big Thank You to the team and thanks to Ashkan for taking us to Pasargad and Persopolis ..it just completed the trip
